The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has finalized one of the most significant changes to international student visas in decades. Beginning in September 2026, new regulations will affect how long F-1 students may remain in the United States, how they transfer schools, and how they continue their education.
These changes are expected to impact thousands of international students currently studying at colleges, universities, language schools, and vocational institutions throughout the United States.

Can I Transfer My F-1 Visa Before the New Rules Take Effect?

If you are currently attending another SEVP-certified institution in the United States, you may still be eligible to transfer your SEVIS record to the Los Angeles Acting Conservatory before September 15, 2026.

Continue Studying Acting in Hollywood for Up to Three Years
