Are you currently studying in the United States in F-1 status? You may be eligible to transfer your active SEVIS record to the Los Angeles Acting Conservatory before September 15, 2026.
Students accepted into an eligible program at our SEVP-certified acting school may study acting in Los Angeles for up to three years, provided they maintain valid F-1 status, enroll in a full course of study, make satisfactory academic progress, and comply with all applicable immigration requirements.
Eligible F-1 students may transfer between SEVP-certified schools. The student must first receive acceptance from the new institution and then coordinate the SEVIS transfer with the Designated School Officials at both schools.
Students interested in transferring should begin the admissions process as soon as possible rather than waiting until the September 15, 2026 effective date.

Maintained an active SEVIS record

Otherwise maintained lawful nonimmigrant status

What Is a Fixed Period of Admission?
